Lead database
Every contact you have imported or emailed, with outreach status across all campaigns, role, company, and how much of each ICP is still fresh.
The lead database is your contact list read as a book of leads rather than a mailing list. It fills itself: every contact you import, sync, capture with a form, or add to a campaign is in it, with everything every campaign did to them. Nothing to enrich twice, nothing locked inside one campaign, and all of it exportable.
Open it from Contacts > Lead database. It needs the View contacts permission; saving an ICP and adding one to a campaign need Manage contacts. It has three views: People, Companies, and ICPs.
What each contact carries
Four things are worked out from what a contact already holds, so they need no setup:
| Field | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Outreach status | Every campaign the contact has been in. The first that holds wins: Unsubscribed (unsubscribed, or replied asking to be removed), Bounced, Meeting booked (through a connected calendar), Positive reply, Replied (a person wrote back; autoresponders are left out), Contacted, no reply, Enrolled, not emailed (in a campaign that has not sent to them yet), Never contacted |
| Job title | The first non-empty custom field named title, job_title, jobTitle, Job Title, position, or role |
| Seniority and department | Read from the job title by fixed rules: founder or owner, C-level, VP, head of, director, manager or lead, senior, entry level, or individual contributor; and executive, engineering, data, product, design, sales, marketing, customer success, finance, people, operations, legal, IT, or other. A contact with no title is No title |
| Company domain | A company_domain, domain, website, or company_website custom field when there is one, otherwise the domain of a work email. A personal address (Gmail, Outlook.com, Yahoo and the like) with no website has no company domain |
Each person also shows how many campaigns emailed them, how many emails they received, and when they were last contacted and last replied.
Filter the database
The rail on the left filters by contact status, seniority, department, email provider, and email validation, with a count next to each option. The counts describe the audience before the checkboxes are applied, so every option keeps a number. Below them:
- Job title contains and Company domain contains
- Not emailed by campaign: everyone that campaign never sent a step to, including people enrolled in it who have not been emailed yet. This is how you find the people you have not contacted for a given offer
- Last emailed: nobody emailed in the last 30, 60, 90, or 180 days, or a year, so you can respect a cooldown across every campaign
- ICP segment: only members of a saved segment
The strip above the table shows how many contacts match, how many have been contacted, how many are fresh and reachable (never contacted or enrolled, with an address that is not invalid and not on the suppression list), how many replied, and how many of the matching companies you have touched.
Click a person to open their contact panel. Export CSV downloads the matching people with every field above, up to 50,000 rows per export, and is recorded in the audit log.
Companies
Companies groups the matching people by company domain: people, fresh leads, contacted, replied, positive, bounced, and when the company was last contacted. Sort by fresh leads to find accounts with room left. Click a company to see its people.
ICPs
An ICP is a saved segment. Narrow the People view to your ideal customer and choose Save as ICP: the filters become the segment's conditions (search text is not saved). Membership stays live, so a contact imported tomorrow that matches joins it.
The ICPs view lists every segment with its coverage: how many contacts match, what share you have already contacted, how many fresh and reachable leads remain, and how many replied positively. Leads opens its people; Add to campaign enrolls its members, skipping anyone already in that campaign. Because the new fields are ordinary segment fields, you can also build ICPs in the segment editor, and link one to a campaign so new matches keep flowing in.
In the API and for agents
Ask Claude in the toolbar copies a ready question, such as how many VP-level sales leaders you have never emailed, with instructions for Claude to answer it from your data through the SQL tools.
The same reads are in the API and in the lead_database_search, lead_database_companies, and audience_coverage agent tools, so an agent connected over MCP can answer "how many VPs of Sales at our target companies have we never emailed".
Moving a workspace
The lead database stores nothing of its own. Every field is read from contacts and campaign history, so a workspace export that carries contacts and campaigns carries the lead database with it, and ICPs travel as segments.
